The Kentucky National Guard’s Family Programs staff and Joe Brummett, Kentucky National Guard Community Outreach director, recently visited local businesses in the Frankfort and Lexington area, to show thanks and appreciation for their support of the Kentucky National Guard.

The businesses received a Kentucky Minuteman glass award, Community Outreach coin and shirt.

“Instead of a thank you by e-mail, we wanted to put a personal touch and thank the supporters in person. Seeing our appreciation, the businesses want to do more to support and help the Kentucky Guard,” said Brummett.

The Kentucky National Guard Family Programs plans on making this a monthly tradition.
