[caption id="attachment_216" align="alignleft" width="360" caption="Chief Warrant Officer 4 Larry D. Moore is congratulated on the occasion of his retirement after more than 24 years of service."] An illustrious and historic career finally concluded at the 75th Troop Command in October 2009. After 24 years of self-less service to the Kentucky Army National Guard, CW4 Larry D. Moore retired. As one of the few remaining Vietnam War Veterans, CW4 Moore has experienced more than most Soldiers can fathom. In addition to his service in Vietnam, he has participated in nearly every major military operation since. During his tenure, he served in nearly every maintenance capacity that a Warrant Officer can serve. A tireless worker and standard bearer for almost every unit in the State, Moore’s footprint has been left in armories throughout the Commonwealth. His achievements and commendations are unsurpassed, but the leadership and mentorship he provided to everyone is immeasurable. As he retires to his home in Louisa, KY with his wife Loretta,  we wish them both the very best. Thank you, Chief Moore, for your exemplary service. You will be truly missed!
