In an effort to support Kentucky's education system as they transition to extended 'Non-Traditional Instruction' across the Commonwealth, the Kentucky National Guard has partnered with Sgt. 1st Class Jason Rhodes of the 2nd Battalion, 138th Field Artillery Brigade based out of Lexington, Ky to put together a 30-minute instructional video on proper etiquette of the American Flag.
Rhodes is also an 8th grade teacher at McNabb Middle School in Mount Sterling, Ky, so he understands both the value of quality instruction as well as the requirements that are needed to be able to qualify that training.
The video has been uploaded to Youtube:
Rhodes has also taken a excerpt from the Kentucky Standards manual highlighting what standards this video would apply to.
