Honor Guard Soldiers with the Kentucky National Guard fold a flag that was presented to the great niece of U.S. Army Sgt. John F. Rowalt, of Bellville, Ohio Nov. 4, 2023. Rowalt had served during the Indian Wars before contracting smallpox and dying around the age of 28 in Cincinnati and buried at the nearby Kentucky cemetery.
