The theme for this year’s 36th-annual Thunder Over Louisville is “Happy Thunder: It’s Glow Time.” The event, which kicks off the city’s annual two-week Derby Festival on April 12, 2025, will feature aerial demonstrations by the Kentucky Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II Demo Team.
