The Kentucky National Guard celebrated the opening of the new Field Maintenance Shop #7 during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Burlington, Kentucky, Aug. 24, 2026. The facility will provide maintenance support to units in the northern Kentucky area, including Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 103rd Chemical Battalion; 299th Chemical Company; 2112th Transportation Company; and 940th Military Police Company, reducing the need to send equipment hundreds of miles for routine maintenance and repairs.
