At the annual Boone National Guard Center Summer Picnic held at Juniper Hill Park. BNGC directorates used the festive day to recognize their employees.  More than 60 individual awards for outstanding achievements were presented. Drane, surface maintenance repairer of Combine Support Maintenance Shop, received the National Guard Bureau Certificate of Service in recognition of 10-years Federal Service.
