Command staff visits Kentucky Soldiers in Cuba

GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba -- Soldiers of the 133rd Mobile Public Affairs Detachment received some prominent visitors, Dec. 3, as members of the Kentucky Guard's command staff arrived at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Kentucky's adjutant general, Maj. Gen. Edward W. Tonini and State Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Chumley Jr., travelled to the Naval base to check in on the Guardsmen on deployment in support of Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay (JTFGTMO). "It was great to be able to showcase what the 133rd MPAD Soldiers have been doing down here to our Kentucky leadership," said Capt. Andi Hahn, commander of the 133rd and officer in charge for public affairs for JTFGTMO. "I am proud of the mission we do here and am even more proud of what this unit has done in our seven months on ground."
