Cliff Flanagan, commander of Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 147th Aviation sends a holiday greeting from the Middle East. (Courtesy photo) This Christmas, the Kentucky National Guard wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas. We are reminded throughout the year, but never as much as the holidays, that Kentuckians are serving their country far from home. We salute the brave Soldiers of Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 147th Aviation currently deployed to the Middle East, the 1988th Contingency Contracting Team in Afghanistan and other Guardsmen deployed around the world. Please keep them, and all U.S. Service members in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season.
