Kentucky Guardsman receives Purple Heart

FORT KNOX, Ky. - Kentucky Guardsman Staff Sgt. Joseph LeMaster, 2123rd Transportation Company, receives the Purple Heart medal during a ceremony at Ft. Knox, Ky., May 6.

LeMaster is being honored for his injuries during a rocket attack on Bagram Airfield Base in Afghanistan while assigned to the 2123rd TC.  He is currently assigned to the Warrior Transition Unit at Ft. Knox.
