Yellow Ribbon Reintegration weekend offers opportunities for Guard members and their families

Over the weekend classes were taught by professionals on topics such as reestablishing relationships, financial planning, and benefits available to them like  TRICARE, ESGR, and  Military One source.  Capt. Bryan Combs, Family Support Programs Director, covered education benefits including the Post 9-11 GI Bill and other available opportunities. The Yellow Ribbon event encompassed a wide variety of benefits and service providers.  Col. (Ret.) Phil Miller from Kentucky Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve spoke about effective ways service members can return to the workforce after a deployment. He also emphasized workshops and other opportunities available for career development to Kentucky Guard Members. “The weekend was a great success," said 1st Lt.
