Best Warrior Competition Highlights Kentucky Guard's Finest Soldiers

This year’s competitors did over 20 miles of running and marching in full combat uniforms, completed written exams and an essay, demonstrated nearly every Army Warrior Task and endured rain and freezing temperatures to complete the 3-day competition. The 2018 Best Warrior Competition was held at Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center in Greenville, Ky., Oct. 25-28, 2017.

It's not easy becoming the best

The stress shoot was an expanded event for the competition in order to prepare the Kentucky Guardsmen and the training site for the National Guard's regional best warrior competition to be held in April, 2017.
