Kentucky National Guard leaders brief new civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army during Frankfort visit
May 20, 2025 — Kentucky National Guard leaders met with retired Col. Lance O’Bryan, newly appointed civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA), on April 30 at Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort. Kentucky Lakota Pilots Land at UK Hospital
May 15, 2025 — Soldiers with the Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 376th Aviation Regiment, 751st Troop Command, 63rd Theater Aviation Brigade, Kentucky Army National Guard conducted a training flight to the rooftop of University of Kentucky Albert B. Kentucky National Guard adapts to shifting weather threats
February 17, 2025 — Kentucky National Guard Soldiers responded to significant flooding from torrential rains that began on Feb. 14. Kentucky Military Police march to honor Allied prisoners of war
February 4, 2025 — Seventeen Soldiers from the 223rd Military Police Company, 198th Military Police Battalion, 149th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, marched with their rucksacks from the Stalag Luft III prisoner of war camp in Zagan, Poland to Spremberg, Germany. The three-day, 55-mile journey followed the exact route of Allied troops who were captured as prisoners during World War II and evacuated from German POW camps on January 27, 1945... MORE

Kentucky Soldiers with the 223rd Military Police Company honored the thousands of troops taken prisoner during World War II by participating in the 80th anniversary Long March through parts of Poland and Germany, Jan. 24-26. Soldiers traveled roughly 55 miles over three days, following the exact route taken by WWII POWs during their evacuation 80 years ago.
